CORRUPTION AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: PROBLEM AND SOLUTION
A TRAINING SEMINAR ON "ETHICS AND FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION" WAS HELD FOR A GROUP OF EMPLOYEES WORKING AT THE UNIVERSITY AS PART OF THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION WEEK. In accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 300 dated September 11, 2023 "On the high-quality and timely implementation of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy in 2023", sent by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a letter No. 03/23-3334 dated November 28, 2023, in order to form a completely uncompromising attitude towards corruption among young people and to organize effective propaganda work to inform the general public about the measures being taken towards a corruption-free society, a training seminar was held on the topic "Ethics and Combating Corruption" for a group of employees working in the structural divisions of the university as part of the Anti-Corruption Week.
During the week, a seminar was held with the participation of the Department of Youth Work, Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Department of Coordination of Student Housing, IRC employees, and university psychology.
At the seminar, the head of the Department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" System Management of the University, F. Turayev, and the university's preventive inspector, captain, B. Nayimov, gave lectures on the prevention and fight against conflicts of interest and corruption to employees working in the university's structural divisions, and provided relevant instructions and concepts on the topic.
Also, an explanation was given on the formation of an absolutely uncompromising attitude towards corruption and the work being carried out towards a corruption-free society. In order to ensure the effective implementation of adopted laws and regulations, and to implement timely and high-quality measures to prevent corruption in all spheres of society and state life, explanatory and promotional work was carried out on the "STATE PROGRAM" for Combating Corruption for 2023-2024, approved by ANNEX 1 to the Presidential Decree No. PF-200 dated November 27, 2023.
