Bahromjon Norqabilov, Chairman of the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies today.
 Within the framework of the international conference, the center of Apiterapia (Bee Sting Treatment Center) participated as an honored guest at the opening ceremony.

On the initiative of the rector of the university, an Apitherapy (treatment with bee stings) center was established on the territory of the educational institution.
 The goal is to organize live theoretical lessons on beekeeping for students and young people, and to test and popularize the scientific experiences of masters, independent researchers and basic doctoral students.

After that, the chairman of the committee held a meeting with the participation of university officials - vice rectors of fields, deans of faculties, heads of departments and heads of departments.
At the meeting, the question of the university rating, as well as the scientific potential of the higher educational institution, the conduct of scientific research were discussed in a critical and analytical spirit.
Based on international experiences, the introduction of advanced standards of higher education, including the acceleration of the process of transition from theoretical knowledge-oriented education to practical skills formation in educational programs, integration of science - education - production.
