On October 18-28th of this year, representatives of Samarkand state university of veterinary medicine livestock and biotechnologies, Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 4 professors of the university participated in the "Twinning Program" international program of veterinary education implemented in cooperation with Samarkand state university of veterinary medicine livestock and biotechnologies and the University of Minnesota of the United States of America. They visited the University of Minnesota in the United States of America participated in training courses organized at the Animal Health and Food Safety Center of the University of Minnesota.

The main purpose of the visit is to discuss the results of the work carried out within the framework of the project, to conduct training courses for professors and teachers on the use of modern pedagogical methods and tools in veterinary education, and to improve mutual cooperation between the two universities in the future, to plan new projects and to develop promising cooperation strategies.
