A delegation consisting of officials of the German scientific research center established for the study of the agricultural and veterinary fields of Central Asian countries visited the university.
The central office of this non-governmental research institution is located in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the head of the delegation, Dr. Georg Steffen Fletcher, the region has great potential for growing nutritious fodder and crops in conditions of water scarcity. The organization plans to cooperate for the prospects of agriculture and veterinary industry of Central Asian countries.

According to the project program, foreign experts aim to familiarize themselves with grape plantations and various technologies of grape cultivation at the Samarkand experimental station of the scientific research institute of horticulture, viticulture and winemaking named after Academician M. Mirzaev.
They will get acquainted with the Samarkand Experimental Station of the Scientific Research Institute of Vegetables, Rice Crops and Potatoes, as well as vegetable farms, seed vegetable farms and vegetable storage facilities.
The riverine landscapes of the Zarafshan River, the thicket forest zone of the Amudarya Delta, and inter-farm irrigation systems will also be studied within the framework of this program.
