At the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly on December 22, 2015, February 11 was officially announced as "International Day of Women and Girls in Science", and since 2016, it has been widely celebrated in many countries of the world.
February 11 - Wide celebration of "International Day of Women and Girls in Science" in our country in the process of reforms aimed at comprehensively supporting women in our country, involving them in scientific activities, and increasing their social activity in the "Year of attention to people and quality education". In order to implement the statement No. 4 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 3, 2023, on February 6-11 of this year, a series of events are being held at the university.
On February 9, an educational-scientific-practical and spiritual-enlightenment event was held within the framework of the week with the participation of women scientists and research women of our team.
The event was attended by Deputy Governor of the Region, Head of the Department of Family and Women, Zebiniso Rahmonova, Rector of the University, Professor Kh.B. In his speech, Yunusov expressed his opinions about the great contributions of women in the development of science and the great opportunities created for them today.
