International cooperation between the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies and the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca (USAMV Cluj-Napoca) in Romania is reaching a new level.
Ongoing dialogues aimed at strengthening collaboration, developing scientific and academic ties, and implementing mutually beneficial initiatives are opening up new prospects for both higher education institutions.

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the visit marked a significant step toward solidifying this partnership. This agreement establishes a robust foundation for the exchange of experience, the advancement of scientific research, the expansion of academic mobility for faculty and students, and the execution of joint scientific projects.

The collaboration encompasses not only veterinary medicine but also the fields of animal husbandry and biotechnology, along with other areas of mutual interest. This will facilitate the integration of the two universities' scientific potential, the development of new research directions, and the expansion of international scientific and academic connections. This partnership represents an important initiative aimed at further strengthening ties between higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and Romania, facilitating the mutual exchange of best practices, and unlocking new opportunities in the fields of education and science.
