Nadav Galon and Orr Rozov, experts from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), visited the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

During the visit, meetings and discussions were held with the university administration, faculty members, and students.
The discussions focused on developing veterinary services, effectively utilizing the potential of the private veterinary sector, training qualified personnel, strengthening practical skills, and integrating international best practices into the educational process.

Views were also exchanged regarding the "One Health" approach and prospects for fostering international cooperation in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal health protection.

At the conclusion of the meetings, the improvement of veterinary education and practice, along with the further expansion of international cooperation, were identified as key priorities.
