A representative of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology is currently participating in the international seminar "Asian-African Foot and Mouth Disease Prevention and Control Technology Seminar" being held in Lanzhou, People's Republic of China.

This seminar was organized in cooperation with FAO and the Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and is attended by leading scientists, international experts and veterinary specialists from Asian and African countries.

Within the framework of the seminar, modern approaches, innovative technologies, international experience and prospects for cooperation in the prevention and control of infectious animal diseases, in particular, foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), are being discussed.

This prestigious international event serves to further strengthen the university's international relations, study best practices and expand scientific and practical cooperation in the veterinary field.
