Best practices in agriculture and biotechnology are being studied
A delegation consisting of the Rector of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology, Professor Kh. Yunusov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan K. Yuldoshev, and responsible employees of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry is currently on a business trip to the Republic of Belarus.

The main goal of the visit is to study the best practices of Belarus in agriculture, animal husbandry and biotechnology, analyze modern production technologies, improve the system of training qualified personnel, and bring bilateral scientific, educational, and practical cooperation to a new level.
As part of the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC). The corporation studied advanced practices in modern biotechnological production processes, production of high-quality feed products for livestock, implementation of innovative technologies, and integration of science and production.
Also, during the meeting, a detailed exchange of views was held on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the fields of agriculture and livestock, implementation of joint scientific projects, exchange of professors, teachers and students, organization of production practices, and integration of modern biotechnologies into the educational process.

This visit is also of particular importance as it takes place on the eve of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Belarus on July 8-9 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. This is expected to further strengthen the strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, including expanding ties in the fields of agricultural education, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, and biotechnology.
