The defense of master's theses by students graduating from master's programs at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology at the end of the 2025–2026 academic year continues. Members of the State Attestation Commission, industry specialists, professors and academic supervisors participate in the defense processes and comprehensively assess the research work of master's students, the practical significance of the results obtained, and their innovative aspects.

Dissertation defenses are organized in accordance with the requirements of the regulations approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 836 of December 13, 2024, and the principles of scientificity, objectivity and transparency of master's work, and are of great importance in demonstrating the scientific potential of young researchers and implementing new ideas and developments that serve the development of the field.
