AN IMPORTANT STEP IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION: A SEMINAR ON MANAGING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST WAS HELD

The Department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" System Management at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology organized a seminar with the participation of professors and teachers of the Faculty of Livestock and Technologies.

The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty J. Khuzhamov, Head of the Department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" System Management F. Turayev, and Head of the Department of Education Quality Control B. Kuldashov. During the seminar, the practical application of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Conflict of Interest", the elimination of possible problems, and mechanisms for effective management of conflicts of interest were discussed.

The experts explained in detail the essence of the law, its scope of application, and the directions of state regulation. At the end of the event, the participants' questions were answered, and their suggestions and comments were listened to.

This seminar was instrumental in strengthening an environment of openness, honesty, and anti-corruption in higher education institutions.
