In Almaty, Kazakhstan, the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) is hosting the first meeting of veterinary education officials from the CIS countries on the topic “Harmonization of Veterinary Education: Adaptation to First-Day Competencies for Graduates and Integration of the ‘One Health’ Concept into Curricula.”
The meeting is being attended by the Rector of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology, Professor Khudoynazar Yunusov, and the Head of the Department for the Development of Science and Education of the Committee, Professor Alisher Safarov.
The issue of our university’s membership in the European Association of Veterinary Educational Institutions (EAEVE) is also being discussed as part of the event.
