On November 5, 2022, the next expanded meeting of the Council of Spirituality and Enlightenment was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.
Leading employees of Samarkand State Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology University branches, Technical College and Academic Lyceum took part in the meeting.
The Chairman of the Spirituality and Enlightenment Council of the University H. Yunusov introduced the issues on the agenda of the Council.
After that, on the issues on the agenda, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs of the university, A. Gapparov, at the university, Appendix 3 of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 31, 2022 PQ No. 187 on "Fundamental improvement of personnel training in the field of veterinary and animal husbandry" "In 2022-2026, he informed about the comprehensive development of the university and professional educational institutions, scientific research institutes operating in the system, as well as the decision of the university council on October 28, 2022, on the permanent establishment of 18 creative circles under the department of spirituality and enlightenment of the university.
Regarding the issues on the agenda, the first deputy directors of the Nukus and Tashkent branches of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology heard information about the establishment of the Five Important Initiatives Center under the Department of Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment in the branches.
The second item on the agenda of the meeting is the implementation of the Decision No. 605 on implementation of the Student Housing, Rent, and Planned Activities within the framework of working with students who commute from their own homes, as well as measures to implement the system of reimbursement of rent paid by students. M. Makhmudov, the head of the accommodation coordination department, the managers of the university branches, the technical school and the academic lyceum were informed about the privileges granted to students living in rented and student accommodation today.
On the third issue on the agenda, the head of the University Youth Work, Spirituality and Enlightenment Department Sh. Kurbanov is present at the university in order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 19, 2022 PQ-92 on measures to fundamentally improve the system of working with youth in neighborhoods 27 The professors and teachers of the department provided information on the state of organization of spiritual-educational and propaganda work in 10 neighborhoods of Samarkand city and 116 neighborhoods located in Narpay and Pakhtachi districts of the region based on the principle of spiritual patron of one intellectual, one neighborhood.
After that, the deputy chairman of the Council of Spirituality and Enlightenment of the University A. Gapparov gave a speech to T. Berdiev, the youth leader of Karshi Yoli MFY in Samarkand, E. Kholmuminov, the youth leader of Nayman MFY, and G. Zoirova, the youth leader of Semurg MFY, who are participating in the Council meeting.
The leaders of the neighborhoods emphasized that the increasing participation of the youth in the neighborhoods in the events organized by the university will increase the weight of the events organized by the university using the available opportunities in the future.
In accordance with the order No. 301 of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 9, 2022 on the effective organization of information and coaching hours in higher education institutions and the introduction of the Social Activity Index of students, Sh. Qurbanov, the head of the University's Spirituality and Enlightenment Department, students' information and noted that for his participation in coaching hours, attendance at classes, compliance with the University's Internal Rules and the Code of Ethics, his participation in public works and activity in clubs, he will be evaluated on a 100-point system every semester and encouraged according to the points he has earned.
