WHAT IS CORRUPTION AND HOW CAN IT BE FOUGHT?
These questions were answered in detail during a roundtable discussion held by the Department of Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” System Management of SamSUVMLB with 1st-year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Prevention and Treatment.
During the roundtable discussion, the head of the department, F. Turayev, told the students that the word “Corruption” is derived from the Latin word “corruptio” and means “to corrupt, to buy”, and that it is the unlawful use or provision of a person’s position or service in order to obtain material or non-material benefits for personal gain or the interests of other persons.
He also provided information on the “Basic Principles of Combating Corruption”, the articles “Crimes Related to Corruption”, and “Regulatory and Legal Acts Adopted in the Field of Combating Corruption”.
