The guests were welcomed by the responsible persons led by the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov.
The rector of the university spoke to the guests about the meaning of the monument depicting the figure of the first veterinarian in front of the main building and gave a brief information about the life and activities of the university.
In turn, foreign experts expressed their gratitude to the rector of our university for the opportunities and support provided. In their conversation, they highly appreciated the prestige of our university, the opportunities created and the position it occupies abroad.
During the visit, the rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine of the Russian Federation, Professor Plemyashov Kirill Vladimirovich, delivered a lecture to the students of our university.
Also, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine and Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies, and Professor Plemyashov Kirill Vladimirovich was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the level of provision of the Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel Training Incubator at our university - vivarium and laboratory equipment, and the created conditions left a very good impression.
