Today, the international scientific-practical conference entitled "Prospective tasks of production and introduction of innovative technologies in veterinary and animal husbandry" started at the University. Leading scientists and researchers of veterinary, animal husbandry, agriculture and biotechnology fields of Central Asia and Commonwealth countries are participating in the conference.Bahromjon Norqabilov, Chairman of the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nazim Ibragimov, Assistant to the Governor of the Samarkand Region for Local Industry Development, and other officials took part in this scientific conference dedicated to the discussion of innovative technologies used in the field, achievements and existing problems.The international conference was opened by the rector of the university, professor Yunusov and introduced the guests. According to the head of the educational institution, solutions of modern prevention and treatment methods in the field of veterinary medicine play an important role in ensuring food safety and growing high-quality, environmentally friendly products. The works carried out by the university and its scientists and researchers serve to positively solve this global issue. In this regard, the institution is always ready to study best practices and cooperate with neighboring and foreign HEIs.Rector of St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, K. Plemyashov, Rector of Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology S. Pozyabin, Vice President of Kazakhstan National Academy T. Espolov welcomed the participants online and wished them success in the work of the conference.Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of Belarus is one of the closest partners of SamDVMChBU. The institutions have been cooperating since 2019. About 40 students are studying at the joint faculty established between the two HEIs. In 2023, this joint faculty will graduate its first graduatesSpecialists have great confidence in the potential and knowledge of graduates of this faculty who will receive diplomas from both countries. Rector of the Academy, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Mykola Gavrichenko also participated in the work of the scientific conference. The Rector of the Academy solemnly awarded the title and badge of the Honorary Professor of the Academy to the Chairman of the State Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Bahromjon Norqabilov, for his significant contribution to the strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation, as well as his attention to the field Within the framework of the conference, a memorandum of cooperation and agreements were signed between the Vitebsk Academy and the Nukus branch of the University, the Veterinary Research Institute and the Poaching Research Institute. Also, an agreement was reached between SamDVMChBU and the Academy on the joint organization of curricula.The work of the conference will continue tomorrow in the form of sub-sections by sector. In particular, improvement of selection and breeding of productive animals in the livestock sector, feeding, production and processing of livestock products,- Advances in modern biotechnological methods in agriculture, technologies for growing and storing environmentally friendly products, pharmaceuticals in veterinary medicine, and plant protection.- Economy, mechanization of production processes in veterinary animal husbandry, creation of resource-energy efficient agricultural machinery, improvement of their use and service provision system, selection of food crops, achievements and existing problems.- Studies on training of modern qualified personnel, achievements in modern methods of teaching and elimination of existing problems, etc. will be discussed.
