"SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS AND FUTURE CHALLENGES IN THE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM DISEASES IN ANIMALS"

The International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Scientific achievements in the treatment and prevention of diseases of the reproductive system in animals and future tasks” was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

Based on a number of decrees and resolutions of the President of our Republic, great attention is paid to the rapid development of animal husbandry in our Republic, to the increase in the production and improvement of the quality of livestock products. One of the distinctive features of highly productive cows is the high incidence of reproductive system diseases in them, and among these diseases, placental abruption in cows occupies a significant place.

Increasing the production and quality of livestock products, reducing their cost, and ensuring the competitiveness of livestock farms of various forms of ownership are among the important tasks of the economy, - said the rector of SamDVMCHBU, Professor Kh. Yunusov, who participated in the conference. - One of the important links in these activities is the maximum use of the reproductive potential of mother animals, increasing their genetic, productivity and reproductive characteristics. The optimal level of reproduction and productivity in large-horned animals is ensured by the normal functioning of the reproductive organs and other systems of animals. When analyzing the state of cattle breeding in farms, the causes of reproductive dysfunction in cows are often obstetric and gynecological diseases, among which diseases such as ovarian diseases, endometritis and uterine subinvolution occupy the main place, causing significant economic losses due to reduced fertility and productivity, as well as the premature removal of highly productive cows from the herd.

Also participating in the conference were the Head of the Department of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. Mavlonov, Professor of the Kyrgyz-Turk-Manas University Ali Rishvoniy, Professor of the Osh State University Abdugani Abdurasulov and others, who expressed their opinions on the topic and wished success to the work of the conference.

During the conference, Associate Professor of the Latvian University of Natural Sciences and Technology Ilga Shematovich made presentations on “Modern methods of embryo transplantation”, Professor of the Osh State University A. Abdurasulov on “The effect of BBQZ gonadotropin and sufagon on the reproductive function of cows”, and PhD student of the SamDVMCHBU J. Yulchiyev on “Tumors of genital organs of female dogs”.

The conference continued its work, divided into sections: "Current problems in the treatment and prevention of diseases of the reproductive system in animals and ways to eliminate them" and "Scientific achievements in the creation of methods and means for stimulating the function of the reproductive system in animals."
