Dirk Barnewitz, director of the German company "Fzmb" (Medical and Biotechnological Research Center) and Kai Vemapp, a member of the company's board, visited the university.
This German company, cooperating with the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development, is one of the leading centers in Europe conducting scientific research in the field of biotechnology, and now they aim to study the opportunities and existing conditions of Uzbekistan in this regard. Also, the visit is intended to launch the production of veterinary drugs and nutritional supplements in cooperation with university scientists and researchers.
The guests attended the reception of the rector, communicated with university professors and teachers. During the conversation, the German experts were interested in the scientific researches and researches conducted at the university in the same fields.
In particular, it was agreed on the maintenance, feeding and treatment of horses, as well as the organization of exchange of university students and professors and the publication of educational literature in mutual cooperation.
They got acquainted with the activities of educational and scientific laboratories operating in the educational institution. It was agreed that the next visit of the delegation will take place in November of this year.
