The head of the World Animal Health Protection Organization is at our university



The participants of the 31st session of the European Regional Commission visited SamDVMCHBU under the leadership of Emmanuel Subeyran, the head of the World Organization for the Protection of Animal Health, accompanied by the Chairman of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Norqabilov. The team led by the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, welcomed the guests with Uzbek tradition - bread, salt and flowers.




The rector described to the guests the monument with the figure of the first veterinarian installed in front of the entrance gate of the University, the main building, and briefly touched on the life and activities of the university. Also, the guests got acquainted with the traditions and values, national costumes prepared by the students.




At the event in the "Palace of Culture" of the university, the rector of the university, professor H. Yunusov, thanked the guests for their visit and said that the "twinning program" launched with the University of Minnesota, USA, was implemented with the help of this organization, as a result of which veterinary science programs and educational He emphasized that the positive results, such as the fact that the materials were adapted to world standards and the duration of education was extended to 5 years, are the fruits of this cooperation.




Abror Akbarov, the deputy chairman of the Veterinary and livestock Development Committee, also touched on the issues of further development of cooperation established by the university and the Committee with this organization.






At the event, the head of the World Organization for the Protection of Animal Health, Emmanuel Subeyran, was awarded the scientific title "Honorary Professor" of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, livestock and Biotechnologies, and souvenirs were handed over.




"Development of normative documents on the use of artificial intelligence in veterinary practice" by J.Yulchiyev, a doctoral student, in the simulation of the project developed by the university professors, doctoral students and masters at the initiative of the chairman of the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee , assistant A. Hotamov gave his recommendations on the topics "Transition to alternative methods by abandoning inhumane methods such as keeping birds in cell batteries".






Also, creative students of the university performed popular songs and dances.
