GHG Emission Categories at SSUV
Emissions at SSUV are categorized as follows:
• Scope 1: Direct emissions generated from university-owned vehicles, including shuttle buses and cars.
• Scope 2: Indirect emissions resulting from the consumption of purchased electricity used across campus facilities.
All calculations are based on standard emission factors and verified operational data, ensuring accuracy and consistency with international reporting standards. Emission values are expressed in metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e) to provide a clear and comparable measure of SSUV’s total greenhouse gas emissions.
