Today, the courtyard of SamSUVMLB was filled with joyful excitement, high spirits and sincere smiles from early morning. A solemn ceremony dedicated to the opening of the new academic year was held for the 1st year students of our university, who were lucky enough to be students, under the noble motto "We are a single homeland, a single people, creating a new life and future!"

   The event was opened by the rector of the university, professor Khudaynazar Yunusov with an introductory speech. In his speech, the rector sincerely congratulated all the young people and professors and teachers on the 35th anniversary of our Independence and the new 2026-2027 academic year, and wished the young people who had achieved studenthood great successes in their future studies and scientific activities.

   After that, the guests - the Chairman of the Samarkand Regional Entrepreneurs' Council Heydar Urakov and other invited representatives - took the floor and expressed their sincere wishes to the young people who are taking their first steps on the threshold of a higher educational institution.

The first-year students and their parents, who spoke during the event, also expressed their heartfelt emotions with special emotion. They noted that they were infinitely happy that their children had entered this prestigious institution and expressed gratitude for the created conditions.
The festive program prepared by the university's artistic team gave the event a special grace and uplifting spirit. Heartwarming melodies and artistic performances shared the true holiday spirit with everyone.
