"PROSPECTIVE TASKS AND MODERN TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR"




     An international scientific and practical conference on this topic was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

    The conference participants, Professor Pakhuna Aykebayera of the Tsingjiang Agrarian University of the Republic of China, Professor Mikhail Mazirov of the Moscow State Agrarian University named after K.A. Temiryazov, Associate Professor Natalya Kamenny of the same university, and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences of the Lithuanian Academy of Agriculture Audrone Zebrauskine, expressed their opinions on the topic, noting that the main goal of the conference is to create and place high-yielding varieties of agricultural crops suitable for soil and climatic conditions based on the integration of science and practice in agriculture, increase productivity, reduce product costs and expand opportunities for increasing income through the use of modern equipment and innovative technologies, and pay special attention to the effective use of innovative technologies in this area, and the implementation of advanced practices.

     Also during the conference, Taylan Boga, chief specialist of the Uzbek-Turkish Joint Venture on Water-Saving Technologies, presented a paper on “Conditions for the introduction of drip irrigation technology, pipe layout and requirements”, Farzona Montazevi, an employee of the Yarus Agro Uzbek-Iranian Joint Venture, presented a paper on “Plant diseases in Uzbekistan and measures to combat them”, and Khojimurod Shodiyev, a basic doctoral student at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, presented a paper on “Substantiation of the parameters of the furrow-opening device of a seedling planting machine”.

     The conference continued its work, divided into sections on promising tasks and modern technologies for the development of the agricultural sector and tasks and modern technologies for the development of the agronomy and fodder growing sector.
