"BABUR'S PRICELESS HERITAGE"
Today, a theatrical literary and musical evening entitled "The Priceless Legacy of Babur" was organized in the "Activists' Hall" of SamDVMCHBU, dedicated to the 541st anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.
The rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, who participated in the event, noted that Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, with his broad outlook and excellent intellect, founded the Babur dynasty in India, gained a name as a statesman in the history of this country, and with his work "Boburnoma", written in the Uzbek language, became one of the world's famous historians.
Also, the teacher of the department G. Bozorova touched upon the life and work of the poet, emphasizing that his ghazals and rubaiyats are rare masterpieces of Turkic poetry.
Theatrical performances were performed by students and readings were made from the poet's ghazals.
