CORRUPTION AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. AN EVENT WAS HELD ON THE THEME "PROBLEM AND SOLUTION".
On April 13, 2023, an awareness-raising event was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Prevention and Treatment of SamDVMCHBU on the topic "Corruption and National Development. Problem and Solution". The event was attended by the head of the department for managing the "compliance-control" system for combating corruption F. Turayev, the rector's advisor Z. Shadmanov, the university's prevention inspector Captain B. Nayimov, and the deputy dean of the faculty M. Tovosharov, faculty tutors. Corruption has a history of several thousand years, the fact that corruption was mentioned in written sources during the Sumerian kingdom BC, and the fact that corruption has reached our days indicates that, like other evils, it cannot be completely eradicated, even developed Western countries have not been able to completely get rid of corruption, but the prevention and fight against corruption, which threatens the development of society, has always been ongoing in all countries of the world, and that comprehensive preventive measures are being taken by university students and youth to prevent illegal actions, especially corruption-related incidents. In order to prevent such situations from occurring, students and young people were informed that they should properly organize their tasks and duties, master classes on time, and not create conditions for corruption, and that in cases of corruption, if the circumstances specified in Articles 210, 211, and 212 of the Criminal Code are noted, this will serve as a basis for considering criminal liability issues.
135 students and 4 tutors of the faculty participated in this event, gained the necessary understanding, and the participants of the event received satisfactory answers to the questions they were interested in. The event was held in a high spirit.
