Since 1997, October 1st has been celebrated in our country as the national holiday "Teachers and Mentors Day." A society's present and future—as well as its cultural, educational, and spiritual potential—depend directly on the quality of its education system. A celebratory event was held under the motto, "We Bow to You, Dear Mentor." During the gathering, tribute was paid to veteran educators and the professors and teachers currently serving at the university.

University Rector Professor Kh.B. Yunusov congratulated all participants on the momentous "Teachers and Mentors Day" and read out holiday greetings sent to the university's dedicated staff by various ministries and organizations.

Bobur Zohirovich Hamroyev, Deputy Chairman of the Food Safety Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, read the congratulatory message from Committee Chairman Azizbek Urunov and extended his own greetings to everyone.

On the eve of the holiday, a group of the university’s professors and instructors received high awards and recognition—including Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation—from the government, the Food Safety Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture, the regional administration, and various other organizations.
