Another meeting was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology as part of the tradition of hosting weekly Friday events focused on spiritual and educational enrichment.

Sohibnazar Mardonovich Baymurodov, Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, participated in the event, which centered on the themes of "Enlightenment against Ignorance," "The Spirit of National Identity in Samarkand," and "Peace as the Supreme Blessing."

During the discussion, Sohibnazar Baymurodov addressed the issue of young people inadvertently falling under the influence of various religious extremist organizations and banned groups. He used real-life examples to illustrate the consequences faced by young people who become implicated in legal violations or criminal acts simply by "liking," commenting on, or reposting questionable religious content found on social media.

The expert offered the students important advice on remaining vigilant, alert, and cautious while navigating the internet and using social media platforms. During the dialogue, which was held in an open and sincere atmosphere, students asked questions of interest to them and received detailed answers.

Indeed, such educational meetings play a vital role in protecting the younger generation from ideological threats and fostering a strong immunity against them.
