The final stage of the football competition "RECTOR'S CUP" under the slogan "Healthy life - a guarantee of a prosperous future" was held at the open sports field of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology between the teams of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Livestock and Technologies.

It is worth noting that this year's competitions were unusually intense and full of struggles. Each match between the teams of the Rectorate, Livestock and Technologies, Veterinary Diagnostics and Food Safety, Veterinary Prevention and Treatment, Biotechnology and Ecology, and the Faculty of Economics was a close, intense, and uncompromising match.

In the match for 3rd place, the teams of the Rectorate and the Faculty of Veterinary Prevention and Treatment won 3:1 and took 3rd place.
In the final match, which was held in an even competition, the team of the Faculty of Economics won 2:0 over the team of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Technologies, taking 1st place and the “Rector’s Cup”.

The Rector of the University, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, participated in the awarding ceremony of the teams and noted that this competition was organized to promote a healthy lifestyle among the professors, teachers and employees of our university and further increase their interest in sports.

He wished all the professors and teachers success in their future scientific work. He solemnly presented the “Rector’s Cup” to the team members and presented them with encouraging souvenirs.
