"IF A WOMAN IS HAPPY, SOCIETY IS HAPPY"
On March 8, an event dedicated to “International Women’s Day” was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology. The event began with a speech by the university rector. During the program, women were presented with awards, certificates of honor and souvenirs. The event was accompanied by performances by creative students and a festive table.
On March 8, the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology held festive celebrations dedicated to “International Women’s Day” under the slogan “IF A WOMAN IS HAPPY, THE SOCIETY IS HAPPY”.
Opening the festive event with a congratulatory speech, the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov congratulated all guests and participants of the event on the holiday, and emphasized the attention paid to women and girls in our society at the level of state policy.
-Today, our state is implementing a number of works to ensure the rights and interests of women and increase their influence in society, - the rector emphasized. - And all our sisters feel the fruits of these good deeds throughout their lives and careers. At the same time, highly appreciating the love shown, they demonstrate their knowledge and potential in all fields, hold the flag of our state higher in the world arenas, and demonstrate their potential by working in the most famous and large companies on earth.
During the event, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs, Alibek Gapporov, read out the order of the rector of the university. According to it, it was announced that women and girls working at the educational institution would receive cash awards on the occasion of the holiday.
The event was further enriched by the teachers who had worked at the university for many years and were now retired. They were given special respect and presented with holiday gifts. Dedicated women and girls who have rendered special services in the field of education were presented with the “Honorary Certificate” and “Thank You Letter” from the rector of the university, as well as souvenirs. Also, by order of the Chairman of the Women's Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the head of the Department of Technology of Storage and Processing of Livestock Products, Shokhista Ishniyazova, was awarded the “Respectable Woman” badge.
The circle was enlivened by the performances of creative students and youth of the university. After that, all the guests continued the event around the festive table.
