"CURRENT TASKS IN MODERN DIAGNOSTICS AND PREVENTION OF CROSS-BORDER INFECTIOUS DISEASES"



   An international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Urgent tasks in modern diagnostics and prevention of transboundary infectious diseases” was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology. The conference emphasized the impact of transboundary infectious diseases on animal husbandry, food security, exports and population well-being, as well as the importance of regional and global cooperation, information exchange and scientific contacts in their prevention.
   An international scientific and practical conference on this topic was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology, where views were exchanged on one of the most urgent and global problems in the veterinary field - transboundary infectious diseases.


Opening the conference with an introductory speech, the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, noted that transboundary infectious diseases are infectious diseases that spread rapidly among animals, do not recognize state borders and can cause significant economic damage in a short time, noting that such diseases have a serious impact not only on the livestock sector, but also on food security, export potential and the well-being of the population.

   Noting that the purpose of holding today's conference is to encourage joint effective work in preventing transboundary infectious diseases, strengthening food security and protecting public health, he wished the conference success.

   Also during the conference, the head of the laboratory of the VITI "Diseases of Young Cattle", Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Professor B. Elmurodov, Professor of the St. Petersburg Veterinary University Eduard Djavadov, Professor of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Markhabat Kasenov and others expressed their opinions on the topic, emphasizing that the fight against transboundary diseases is not a problem that can be solved only within the framework of one country, but is an urgent task that requires regional and global cooperation, and noted that information exchange, rapid warning systems and, of course, scientific cooperation are of great importance.

   The conference continued its work, divided into sections such as "Modern diagnostics of transboundary infectious diseases" and "Current tasks in the prevention of infectious diseases".
