“MEMORY IS ETERNAL, VALUE IS SACRED!”

Currently, a number of activities are underway across our country to properly celebrate the Day of Memory and Honor. The goal is to commemorate the defenders of the Motherland, to appreciate the selfless people among us, the teachers who work hard and productively to ensure a peaceful life and prosperity, and thereby express gratitude for our peace. This spiritually stimulates a person, encourages him to serve his homeland with loyalty and determination.

This was once again demonstrated in the events organized by the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies, which was held under the slogan "Memory is eternal, honor is sacred" on May 9 - the Day of Memory and Honor.

First, the honored guests and professors invited to the event visited the classrooms named after the university, dedicated to science, education, skillful teachers and organizational leaders, our dear teachers, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Hayitov Rozi Hayitovich, Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Ergashev Erkin Hamidovich, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Hamdamov Iskandar Hamdamovich, and the university history museum.

During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities created for the younger generation at the university, as well as information about the unique creativity and exemplary lives of those who worked at this institution and contributed their lives to the development of science.

After that, the event continued at the university's "Palace of Culture", where the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, congratulated the veterans on the holiday, noting that this date, called the Day of Memory and Appreciation, has become a national holiday and a true tradition in our country, and that the concepts of memory and appreciation correspond to our true national values, and are both religious and human traditions inherited from our ancestors.

The songs performed by the creative youth of the university gave the event an even more uplifting spirit.
