AN "OPEN DOORS" DAY WAS HELD AT THE SAMARKAND STATE UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE, LIVESTOCK AND BIOTECHNOLOGY.
This event was attended by 50 graduating students of the University's Academic Lyceum, led by professors and teachers of the Department of "Biology, Ecology and Medicinal Plants" and "Biotechnology" of the Faculty of Biotechnology.
During the event, the students got acquainted with the activities of the university, educational areas and scientific activities, international cooperation and the conditions created for students. Detailed information was provided about the biology, microbiology, chemistry and biotechnology laboratories and methods of their use.
Then, the field training experimental sites and the role of more than 30 natural medicinal plants grown in these areas in medicine were discussed.
