The rector of the university, Professor Kh. Ga'afforov, Ph.D., a professor at Samarkand State University, who participated in the event, emphasized that Sohibkiron was not only the founder of the most powerful state of his time, a patron of science, culture, and spirituality, but also a person who had a decisive influence on the historical changes that took place on the Asian and European continents and made an incomparable contribution to world civilization. Today, interest in studying the great heritage of Amir Temur and the Timurids in national statehood, science, culture, creativity and other areas is growing worldwide, many artistic and journalistic works have been created and scientific research is being carried out in our country and abroad on the great contribution of the Timurids to the development of world civilization, and all this is of great importance in discovering new aspects of the personality of Amir Temur and the land and historical conditions that raised him, Sahibkiran noted.
