THE FUTURE STARTS TODAY

In today's increasingly globalized era, the result of the reforms and changes implemented in our country directly depends on the education sector, as well as on the issue of training new modern personnel. All fields can be developed only by young people with new knowledge, moreover, we need young personnel armed with modern knowledge to strengthen the foundation of the "Third Renaissance".
The initial reforms in the field of higher education by our government focused primarily on increasing coverage, improving the financial status of institutes and universities, and providing financial support to professors and teachers.

It should be recognized that significant positive changes have taken place in the field of higher education in the last few years. The internal and external appearance of higher education institutions is changing, the material and technical base is being improved, the financing of scientific developments and social support is being strengthened, and the income of professors and teachers is also increasing.
Today, there are all conditions and opportunities for young people who want to do real scientific work. It is clear that such attention will change the approach to higher education and increase its quality and level.
Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, livestock and Biotechnologies is the only higher education institution in our country that trains experts in the field of veterinary medicine, animal husbandry and biotechnology. . About 6,000 students study at this university, which was founded not long ago (2018). The university has established cooperative relations with more than 90 similar universities in Europe, Asia, America and other regions.
Usually, at the end of the year, there is no doubt that special feelings and emotions arise in the hearts of everyone who considers himself to be a part of the destiny of the country.
What did we do in the year that is going down in history?
The important thing is to answer these questions.
In the last year, a long-awaited project - the Scientific Innovation Incubator - was launched at the university. "Intensive training of scientific personnel for the development of the field of veterinary, biotechnology and animal husbandry in Uzbekistan" that incorporates all possibilities in order to establish an effective system of training scientific personnel at Oliygoh, commercialize and introduce scientific research into production, organize student internships and create a full self-financing mechanism business incubator" MEGA project is being implemented.
Did you do what you planned?
What has changed in the life of the university, student - young people, professor - teachers?
Today, 75 people are working in the project, 15 of them are candidates of science, 60 are Ph.D. doctors, as well as independent researchers and master's students, who are conducting their scientific and research work on more than 14 animal species.
In general, a good specialist is in high demand everywhere, and a job can be found. Our youth are realizing that masters of their work are well paid everywhere.
To put it simply, today the students themselves realize that it is necessary to get an education in order to live well, to become a strong competitive specialist.
Big goals are expected from this project and the first results will be known next year.
Last year, a large international conference on food safety was held in Samarkand (September 7-8). University professors also participated in it. And then it became clear that this mega project, which we are implementing, is one of the important steps towards ensuring the economy of our country, as well as food security.
24 students of the university participated in the academic exchange programs with foreign higher education institutions, 7 of the basic doctoral students, 38 of the professors and teachers and leading personnel returned after improving their skills or completing internships at prestigious foreign universities, institutes and scientific research institutes. We believe they will help us implement best practices in-house.
Also, 15 innovative and start-up projects were formed by talented students at the University and recommended for national competitions.
This year, 5 talented students - our youth became the owners of famous scholarships of our country.
In a word, we are carrying out our planned work step by step - the important thing is that our team has the will and desire for this, as well as the opportunities.
It is difficult to imagine modern life today without the progress of science and education. It is not for nothing that the development of education in the most advanced and leading countries of the world is defined as the first priority task. After all, the future of the country is closely related to the achievements in this field.
We have many plans for next year.
