At the initiative of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development, a practical seminar was organized at the Samarkand University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology on June 9 at 10:30 am on the topic: “Artificial insemination of cattle: experience and results”
The seminar was attended by official representatives of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development, State Enterprise "Uznaschilik", departments, inseminators, managers and specialists of farms.
According to experts, the state enterprise "Uznaschilik" appeared and was established in our country in the late 50s of the last century. According to the director of the enterprise, Olimjon Mamatkulov, the enterprise takes care of breeding bulls of such breeds as Simmental, Holstein, Swiss, Angler, Angus, Bushuev. This institution is considered unique not only in Uzbekistan, but also in other republics of Central Asia.
Today SE "Uznalchilik" closely cooperates with well-known world companies specializing in this field.
The company continues to introduce artificial insemination technology using semen obtained from purebred bulls.
The employees of the enterprise regularly go on business trips to foreign countries, improving their skills in the use of equipment and novelties in artificial insemination technology.
During the seminar, experts discussed the importance of artificial insemination in further improving the breed of cattle, achieving high productivity in animal husbandry and preventing animal diseases, recent experiments and their results.
At the conference, experts also focused on the benefits of artificial insemination of livestock.
