A meeting was organized at the university with honorees of agriculture - Abdumajid Nurkulov, Amriddin Muhiddinov, professor of the faculty of veterinary medicine - prevention and treatment, Kurban Norboyev, the favorite teacher of the youth. 
The meeting was attended by the officials of the regional department of veterinary and animal husbandry development and district departments, holders of the badge "Veterinary devotee" and honorary professors and teachers of the university, as well as students and young people studying in these areas. 
During the meeting, the honorees told stories to the representatives of the younger generation about their life paths, the work they did for the development of the industry, the hardships and difficulties they encountered along the way. It was explained on the basis of life examples that a person should set a goal and plan his future, that he will certainly encounter problems along the way and overcome these problems with his knowledge, potential and aspirations. Questions sent by students did not go unanswered. 
A. Nurkulov, who has been working in responsible positions in the Samarkand regional hokim for many years and since 2019 has been working as an advisor to the regional hokim on agriculture and water management issues, unique decorative and fruit tree seedlings were presented to the university by the rector of the university, Professor Yunusov was presented with the book "Samarkand - the surface of the earth". Students who actively participated in the meeting were presented with souvenirs and a collection of books by the honorees. 
The meeting was interesting and constructive. The guests were presented with "Honorary Teacher" diplomas of the Rector of the University for his participation in youth education.
