Tasks of the Head of the Master's Department:
General management of all activities and employees of the department;
Drawing up work plans of the department and ensuring their implementation;
Coordination of the activities of relevant departments of the educational institution, based on the goals of the department;
Ensuring and monitoring the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education, Presidential Decrees, Decrees, Resolutions, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Resolutions of the Board, orders, instructions, modemgrams and telephonegrams of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, as well as orders of the rector;
Conveying to students the essence of the decrees and resolutions adopted by the President and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Organizing scientific research, increasing its effectiveness and widely implementing research results into practice, ensuring the mutual integration of higher education, science and production;
to lead and assist in the process of searching, selecting and working with talented young people, to manage the process of preparing laureates of prestigious scholarships named after the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi, Beruni, Ulugbek, Zulfiya, etc. from among students and graduate students;
to organize the activities of the Council of Young Scientists, the Student Scientific Society and prepare them for the Olympiads;
to organize the development and improvement of students' scientific work;
to organize special work with excellent students and talented young people;
to select candidates for prestigious scholarships of the Republic from among students and graduate students;
to organize scientific conferences, symposiums and seminars;
to organize the promotion of scientific achievements of science through daily mass media;
to establish external scientific relations.
