In Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies, on October 21 - the day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language, a literary and artistic evening called "My mother tongue is my pride" was held, celebrating the greatness, richness and uniqueness of our language.

professors and students participated in the evening organized by the Uzbek,
Russian language and literature department of SamSUVMLB.
The event was opened by the rector of the university, professor Khudaynazar Yunusov and congratulated the participants on the day when the Uzbek language was recognized as the state language. While congratulating everyone on this auspicious day, the rector said that in recent years, our political and practical work on increasing the value and prestige of our mother tongue in Uzbekistan, as well as in all sectors and industries, has reached a new level. He mentioned that it can be clearly seen in the example of the historical decrees and decisions taken to radically increase its status and reputation as a language.
As a result of such efforts, our native language is gaining its rightful place and position not only in our country, but also on the world scale. We are especially pleased that our mother tongue is being played on the high platform of the United Nations, at major political summits and meetings, and is becoming a tool for peace, friendship and cooperation.
The guest of the event - Mavlon Bobokhanov, doctor of philology (DSc) of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, spoke about the great and responsible tasks ahead of us in terms of further development of the Uzbek language, strengthening its position and prestige as the state language.
Today, our noble aspirations and actions aimed at building a new Uzbekistan are reaching a decisive stage. In this way, our mother tongue, which is a symbol of our national identity and pride, serves as an incomparable source of strength and inspiration.

youth of the University and the Student Theater Studio.
