January 14 - "Day of Defenders of the Motherland" and in connection with the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan "The people and the army are one and the same!" The rector of the university, professor H. Yunusov, took part in the stone-lifting competition held under the slogan, congratulated the participants on the holiday and spoke about the importance of sports for human health.

 According to the results of the competition, the 1st place - Faculty of Economics, 2nd place - Faculty of Product Processing Technology and Standardization, and 3rd place - Faculty of Agrotechnology were awarded in the sport of rock lifting.
